Argon Peduli's Contribution to Brighter Vision in East Nusa Tenggara's Horizon


Argon Peduli has contributed to promoting social services through cataract operations and environmental greening efforts by sustainable landscaping of flamboyant trees at the Dr. Ben Mboi Central General Hospital in Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara Province (NTT) on Friday, March 8, 2024. This social initiative in eastern Indonesia is in collaboration with the Dr. Ben Mboi Central General Hospital (RSUP), the Indonesian Association of Ophthalmologists (Perdami) of NTT Province, and Dharma Dexa.

 

The Acting Governor of NTT, Mr. Ayodhia G.L Kalake; CEO of Argon Group, Mr. Krestijanto Pandji; Corporate Affairs Director of Dexa Group, Mr. Tarcisius Tanto Randy; and the CEO of Dr. Ben Mboi Central General Hospital in Kupang, Dr. Annas Achmad were present at the event.

 

Mr. Ayodhia G.L Kalake expressed appreciation to all parties involved and initiated efforts to improve the health conditions of the people of NTT.

 

"We hope this good initiative can continue in the future, and for patients who have participated in cataract surgery, to maintain their health. Additionally, this morning, we also carried out greening activities by planting trees in the hospital environment," said Mr. Ayodhia.

 

Dr. Annas Achmad, CEO of Dr. Ben Mboi Central General Hospital in Kupang, highlighted the high incidence of cataracts not only in Kupang but also in almost all areas. "Patients can see much brighter, much better. We hope to conduct this program regularly every year to assist the cataract patients in Kupang," explained Dr. Annas.

 

Mr. Krestijanto Pandji added that social services, as part of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, are widely implemented in various regions. "This is the first time in Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara. Hopefully, today's event can be successful and the collaboration with the hospital will continue in the future," said Mr. Krestijanto, who was also accompanied by the Head of Branch of AAM Kupang Branch, Mr. I Komang Artha, on this occasion also donated to the needy people of Kupang during the event.
