Argon Group's Healthcare Transformation on National Health Day Commemoration

Argon Group supports national health resilience by participating in the 59th National Health Day (HKN) commemoration organized by the Indonesian Ministry of Health on Thursday, November 9, 2023, at the Jakarta Convention Center.

By the theme of the 59th National Health Day "Health Transformation for Advanced Indonesia" Argon Group showed transformation in the innovation of domestically manufactured medical device products through the PT Deca Metric Medica (DMM) business line and digital health transformation through digital products from PT Karsa Inti Tujuh Askara (KITA).

In his remarks, Minister of Health Mr. Budi Gunadi Sadikin explained that the Ministry of Health is committed to shopping for drugs and medical devices in the country. This can be seen from domestic health spending continues to increase.

"Domestic drug and medical equipment spending is also increasing. In 2020, around Rp 4.5 trillion of the budget was spent on medicinal raw materials, now Rp 9 trillion has been used to purchase domestic medicinal materials," said Mr. Budi Gunadi.

Meanwhile, Indonesian Vice President Mr. Ma'ruf Amin said that to achieve health resilience, it is necessary to increase innovation and mastery of health technology. "We must truly realize that innovation and health technology are the face of future civilization," said Mr. Ma'ruf Amin.

As a distribution and marketing business group for health products and domestic medical device manufacturing, Argon Group President Director Mr. Krestijanto Pandji said Argon Group continues to innovate and develop and utilize technology to realize national health independence.

Through two business lines, DMM has successfully produced national medical devices such as Wide Area Fixation (DecaFix) with high-TKDN, Sterile Transparent Wound Dressing with Absorbent Pad (Decamed-T), Paper Tape with Dispenser (DecaPore) and Surgical Scrub (DecaCare). Domestic medical device products have also been included in the e-catalog system.

Meanwhile, PT KITA developed the GPOS B2B e-commerce platform and GPOS Lite Pharmacy application to facilitate the ordering of pharmaceutical products and medical devices and pharmacy management. This digital solution makes public access to health products easier.

"The innovations made by Argon Group through Deca Metric Medica and PT KITA are a real effort to realize the independence of the national pharmaceutical and medical device industry by the transformation of the national health security system," said Mr. Krestijanto Pandji.
