Argon Group's Contribution in Enhancing Health in "The Soul of Java"

The government has developed a framework to strengthen the healthcare development paradigm, shifting from curative-rehabilitative to promotive-preventive approaches through a multi-sectoral strategy. Argon Group is actively participating in encouraging the community to adopt a healthy lifestyle.

One of the promotive-preventive efforts is maintaining personal hygiene. Through their own product called Stardec, Argon Group has donated Stardec wash glove tissues to 800 midwives and residents in Wonosobo Regency. Stardec wash glove tissue is a disposable washcloth that contains antiseptic, softening, and moisturizing properties, making it safe for the skin.

As we know, midwives play a crucial role in providing basic health services for mothers, children, and family planning (KIA-KB). Therefore, Argon Group, in collaboration with Dexa Group, is working

with the National Population and Family Planning Agency (BKKBN), the Indonesian National Police (Polri), and the Wonosobo Regency Government to organize a series of activities aimed at improving the health of the Wonosobo community, known as "The Soul of Java."

The social service activities include health examinations, free medical treatment, and the inauguration of communal toilets. These services aim to support and improve the health of the Wonosobo community as a preventive measure against health risks. The activities are followed by

educational sessions for midwives on efforts to prevent stunting in the first 1,000 Days of Life (HPK), with the target of reducing stunting by 14 percent in 2024 and 17.8 percent in 2023.

As part of this series of activities, Argon Group also deployed an ambulance to support healthcare services to the Wonosobo community. Argon Group’s President Director, Mr. Krestijanto Pandji, expressed the company's commitment to providing significant benefits to the community, particularly in improving the quality of healthcare for the Indonesian population.

"We must continually improve the quality of healthcare for the Indonesian population. This task cannot be solely entrusted to the government; it requires support from other stakeholders. With

over 42 years of contribution to the healthcare sector, Argon Group holds 'Deal with Care' as one of our core values, and we consistently strive to improve the quality of healthcare for the Indonesian population," stated Mr. Krestijanto.

This event serves as an opportunity to promote the Healthy Living Community Movement (GERMAS). Promoting GERMAS is crucial in all aspects of life, especially in addressing the complex challenges of the health sector, including high maternal and infant mortality rates, stunting, and Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs).

Revitalizing GERMAS is part of the first pillar of healthcare system transformation, focusing on promotive-preventive activities to create a healthier society.
